Karl Michael Tozzi died on March 19, 2023 at Steward Myer Hospital after battling a long illness with cancer. He was born in Miami, Florida on June 12, 1945 to Patricia Clarke. Raised by his aunt and uncle Margie and Ed.

Karl graduated from Miami Highschool. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp for 4 years and did a tour of duty in Vietnam.

After the Marine Corp he joined the Broward County Sheriff's Department and served 34 years until he retired.
