Karin Merkle's Obituary
Karin Merkle, 77 of Daytona Beach passed away peacefully on November 8, 2016.
Karin was born in Berlin Germany, and lived in Berlin, Kiel and Hamburg. She was raised by her grandparents during WWII. Karin left Germany and settled in Atlanta Georgia, where she worked in Walter's Beauty Shop. She retired as a co-owner of the Beauty Shop along with her husband Walter. They have enjoyed a blessed marriage of 51 years. Karin enjoyed cooking, entertaining, outside gardens and traveling, especially on cruise ships. Survivors include her husband Walter, and son Michael, also of Daytona Beach.
A Memorial Service will be on Monday November 21st at 3:00 PM from the Lohman Funeral Home 1201 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange.
In lieu of flowers please consider Kindred Hospice 1717 N. Clyde Morris Blvd Daytona Beach, 386 274 1004.
