Karen Sue Pugh age 56 of Port Orange formerly of Greenville TX and Lawton OK passed away after a short illness at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach. A memorial service in her honor will be held Saturday October 31 2009; 11:00 AM Highland Cemetery 2201 NW Fort Sill Blvd Lawton OK

Karen was born in San Diego California to George Sr. and Brucilla Neal . She dedicated her life as a military wife and mother who traveled and lived all over the world and volunteer for several different organizations. Her participation in Fresh Start for the DBCC as a Guardian Ad Litem and with several newborn nurseries across the country was a great source of pride for her. Karen was an animal lover friendly open and loving.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and leaves behind to cherish her memory 2 children; George ( Brook) Whisler stationed in Japan and Melanie Pugh of Lynnwood WA her previous husband James Pugh a brother; George "Skip" (Janis) Neal and a father by marriage Travis Kirk.
