June Beverly Lavallee
June 23, 1934 ~ August 18, 2022
June Beverly Lavallee, 88, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2022 in Port Orange, Florida surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 23, 1934 in Milford, Massachusetts to the late James and Mary (Pendergast) Munyon.
June was a dedicated and loving wife to her husband, Richard. June's primary and most important responsibilities in life, that brought her the most joy, were being a devoted wife and loving mother, while raising a family of 4 children. Family meant everything to her, and she was the heartbeat and foundation of her family. Often, she would invite her children's friends to the Lavallee home for food, fun, and laughter, and her home became the place everyone wanted to be. June was a strong and caring wife who accompanied her husband to the many different places his jobs took the family including Richard's military service in Germany and Colorado, and his professional career in many cities in Florida, Alabama, and Puerto Rico. She was always the family's strength in settling into each new place.
June loved to dance and sing. Her favorite song was Frank Sinatra's "My Way". She loved the holidays with all the decorations and festivities, but most of all, spending time with family and friends. She especially loved babies and was in her glory watching over and helping raise her grandchildren. She was so excited and proud of the next generation of great-grandbabies. She loved the color purple, Florida State football, and the Miami Dolphins. Her smile and laughter always filled our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Munyon.
June is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard Lavallee, sons James (Lynn), Richard Jr., Paul (Tandra), daughter Dr. Sharon Lavallee, as well as, grandsons Kirby (Kristina), David (Kathleen), Jesse (Brittany), Daniel (Erin) Lavallee, Alex (Brittany) and Ryan Intriago as well as granddaughter Lauren (Kevin) Tenner and 6 beautiful great grandchildren: Ellie, Charlie, Kaia, and Amelia Lavallee; Reagan Tenner; and Ellie Intriago.
June also leaves behind 4 younger sisters, Janice Cowan, Deborah Clancy, Sharon (Richard) Relicke, and Linda (Paul) Franzelas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
We will miss June, but we know that she rests now in the Kingdom of Heaven and will always watch over us from above. We are thankful of the Lord's Plan and blessed to have had June on earth with us for 88 amazing years and look forward to reuniting with her in Heaven.
