Gerwig June Hyde 73 of Ormond Beach Florida passed away on September 6 2006. She lived in the Ormond Beach area off and on for 40 years. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Charles H. Gerwig Jr.; daughters Susan G. Bouffard and her husband Kirk Bouffard of Palm Island Florida and Pamela G. Flores and her husband Peter C. Flores of Ormond Beach and grandson C. Parker Flores of Ormond Beach. She was predeceased by her sister Esther Minick of Ormond Beach. She is survived by many nieces and nephews in Florida and Maryland. She was born in Baltimore Maryland and lived there until her marriage. She has lived in multiple states with her husband?s military transfers and various locations with GE transfers. She came back to Ormond Beach in 1992 in retirement. She was employed at various locations and spent 8 years with the Florida State Legislature as the Aide to a local State Representative from 1972 to 1980. She enjoyed boating golfing and genealogy research. She spent her summers at their home on Lake George New York for the past 25 years. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church and the Halifax River Yacht Club. A memorial service will be held on September 10 2006 at Christ Presbyterian Church 1035 W.
