Julian "Lefty" Swann age 93 of Daytona Beach FL passed away quietly at his residence Thursday August 25 2011 while he slept.

There will be a Funeral Mass Friday at 10:30AM September 2nd at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange FL. A visitation will be held Thursday from 6pm to 8pm at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home 736 S. Beach St. Daytona Beach FL 32114. He will be laid to rest at Knollwood Cemetery in Canton Massachusetts.

Mr. Swann was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was a member of the Manchester Country Club and president of the association for numerous years. He was the owner and operator of New Hampshire Welding and Welding Supplies. He retired to Florida in 1980. Mr. Swann's success allowed him to be benevolent to many charities. He will be missed by his loving family; Wife Frances Swann of Daytona Beach FL; Son David Carpenter of Naples FL and many nieces and nephews.
