Julie Ann Nelson, 42, of Beaver Falls, PA, passed away on June 15, 2015 in Enterprise, FL.

Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at Lohman Funeral Home, Ormond Beach, FL on June 27th at 1:00 pm, with Reverend Mark Spivey officiating.

Julie was born in New Brighton to James Patterson and Barbara Porto on June 28, 1972. She went to high school at Lake Brantley and graduated in 1990. She went on to earn an Associate degree in Recording Arts Specialized Associates from Full Sail University, an Associate of Arts degree from Valencia College, and an Associate of Science degree in Culinary Management from Daytona State College. She worked as Personal Chef for AJT Consulting for about a year. She made the President's List every semester while attending DSC. She was recently accepted to the HonorSociety.org member society.

Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Humane Society.
Julie married James Nelson in 2009 in Ormond by the Sea, FL. They were happily married for 6 years. She enjoyed the beach, cooking, music, FL Keys, swimming, sports, Nascar, and spending time with family and friends.

Julie is preceded in death by her grandpa, Bennie Albert Porto, and her father, James Patterson.
Julie is survived by her mother, Barbara Porto, and stepfather, Timothy Holbert of Palm Coast, husband, James Nelson of Enterprise, grandmother, Betty Porto of Ormond Beach, Uncle, Richard Porto of Conneaut Lake, Aunt, Loraine and Uncle Dieter Flannigan of Palm Coast, Uncle, Bradley and Aunt Linda Porto of Ormond Beach and the Nelson Family.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Daytona State College, Lohman Funeral Home and her amazing friends. May Julie continue to remain in the hearts of those she touched.
