Julia I. Winn 86 of Holly Hill died Friday morning May 14 at Florida Hospital-Ormond Memorial.

Born in Moultrie Georgia Julia was a resident of this area since moving here in 1975 from California. Julia and Raymond her late husband of 48 years traveled throughout the world. He was in the Air Force and she was an elementary schoolteacher in places like England The Philippines Japan Georgia and Alabama.

Julia received her master?s degree at Valdosta State University in Georgia. Locally she was a member of the Halifax Historical Society and Central Baptist Church.

Julia will be sadly missed by her two sons: Raymond with whom she resided in Holly Hill Florida and Rick of Taylor Florida. She is also survived by her sister Mabel Claire Lynch of Albany Georgia three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
