Judy M. Evans, 64, of Port Orange passed away on May 12, 2014. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014 at White Chapel Church of God, 1730 S. Ridgewood Ave, South Daytona, FL 32119. Burial will immediately follow at Daytona Memorial Park.

Judy was born on May 26, 1949 in Gainesville, FL to the late Louis and Jeannette Arnold. She attended Mainland High School and graduated in 1966. Shortly after graduating high school she enrolled in the Nursing Program at Sante Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL. Upon her graduation from Sante Fe, Judy began her career in the nursing field at Dr. Bullock's office in South Daytona, FL. She then worked as a secretary at White Chapel Church of God while her children attended Warner Christian Academy. She then transitioned back into the nursing field taking a position as a school nurse with Volusia County Schools. Judy ended her career in nursing with Atlantic Urology Associates where she worked for 13 years.

Judy was passionate about her family, her church and taking care of others. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and devout Christian. Judy was a parishioner at White Chapel Church of God for 43 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband Paul M. Evans, Sr., her parents, Louis and Jeannette Arnold and brother, Steve Arnold.

Survivors include son Paul M. Evans Jr. and his wife Patty; daughter, Christina Evans, grandchildren, Amber Evans, Christopher Evans; sisters; Sandra, Marcia and Patricia, as well as many extended family members, and close friends.
