Juanita Zeimetz 85 of Ormond-by-the-Sea passed away August 24 2008 after a brief illness. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday August 28 2008 at 3:00 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond chapel with Pastor David Sharpe officiating. Juanita was born August 4 1923 to the late Sylvia and Albert Luenser in Blue Island IL where several generations of her family had lived. She worked as an accountant for Cargill Industries on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade for 30 years prior to retiring in 1986. In 1992 tiring of the cold weather she moved to Ormond Beach to be closer to her family and enjoy the warm weather. An active woman Juanita loved tending her yard growing vegetables walking on the beach fishing on the pier with the family and reading a good book. She was member of Crossroads Calvary Chapel in Ormond Beach and is survived by two sons Lance (Dianne) Zeimetz of Ormond Beach and Kurt Zeimetz of Arlington TX; Five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive. Memorial contributions in Juanita's name may be made to Crossroads Calvary Chapel (1805 North US 1 Ormond Beach FL 32174). Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
