Juanita V. Sims, 75, of Port Orange, Fl passed away peacefully at home Sunday after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Superior, West Virginia to the late Tom Reeves and Sadie Mullins Sexton. Juanita was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She served her community as a neighborly caregiver.

She is survived by her husband of 54 yrs. Melvin E. Sims. Sons, Greg E. Sims and wife Chris, Dale R. Sims and wife Yolande. Daughter, Linda L. Sims and her 4 beautiful grandchildren. Caregiver and long time friend Michele Hess.

Calling hours will be held at the Lohman Funeral Home, 1201 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange, on Thursday, January 17, from 4pm to 6pm, with a service immediately following at 6:00 pm.
