Obituary

Juanita Malcolm Ashley 87 of Daytona Beach Shores peacefully passed away on March 23 2012. Juanita was the daughter of George and Mamie Bradford of Winston-Salem NC. She was an Executive Secretary in North Carolina and later in South Florida. Juanita moved to the Daytona Beach area in 1975. She established Malcolm-Ashley Realty. This successful agency was exclusive to the Oceans Condominiums in Daytona Beach Shores. Here Juanita made many lifelong friends.

Juanita had a passion for oil painting and was a respected local artist. She was a member of the Art Guild of Ponce Inlet. Her work was shown several times in the area.

Juanita was predeceased by her husbands: Frederick C. Hicks John D. Malcolm and Robert L. Ashley. Juanita is survived by her daughter Judy Ann Cooper of New Smyrna Beach; her two grandchildren: Robert Hodges of High Point NC and Craig Hodges of Tarpon Springs FL; and by her three great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday April 11 2012 at 1:00pm at Westminster by the Sea Presbyterian Church 3221 South Peninsula Dr. Daytona Beach Shores. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Cardwell Funeral Home.
