Obituary

Juanita Appenzellar reunited with her husband of 67 years, William Ralph Appenzellar, in heaven June 20, 2016. Juanita was born April 25, 1924 to Richard Sherwood Sampson and Florence Butler in Huntingdon, West Virginia. She graduated from Mainland High School in 1942. They had two daughters, Cherry Evans and Becky Ferguson (Jack); five grandchildren, Kelly Hudson, Billy Evans, Pam Evans, John Ferguson and Amy Carbajal; and ten great-grandchildren, Michelle (Harris), Megan and James Evans; Lee, Jack and Will Hudson; Reiley and Chandler Ferguson; and Gus and Becca Carbajal. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, great cook, creative seamstress, and lover of gardening and birds. She worshiped at First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach.
A Celebration of her life will be led Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 1:00pm by Mike Larson and Rev. Paul Dillow in the Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL. Visitation will be from 12pm til the Service begins at 1:00pm.
