Juan Francisco
Beltran
June 16, 1957 – March 8, 2026
Juan Francisco Beltran, a man whose life was defined by love, adventure, faith, and devotion to family, was born on June 16, 1957, in El Puerto de La Libertad, El Salvador. He was the beloved son of Claudio Beltrán and Sebastiana Aguilera de Beltrán, and grew up in the small, close-knit town of El Cimarrón alongside his younger brother, Joaquín Beltran.
Juan Francisco was raised in a home filled with warmth, music, and generosity and most importantly. His father’s passion for music filled their house with the sounds of pianos, guitars, and violins, while his mother’s love for cooking ensured that no one ever left hungry. Their home was always open, often bustling with cousins who were welcomed and loved as their own. From an early age, Juan Francisco helped his parents run the family store, a place he fondly remembered for its freezer full of his favorite treats and the backyard overflowing with mango, banana, and tamarind trees.
Music and community were central to his upbringing. Alongside his father and brother, Juan Francisco was part of a family band that played at local gatherings, strengthening both his love for music and connection to his community. As he grew, he developed a passion for soccer, traveling, motorcycles, and the ocean especially the black sand beaches of El Tunco Surf City, where he spent cherished moments under the sun playing volleyball and enjoying life.
Juan Francisco was a dedicated scholar and proud graduate of Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas. He began his professional journey as a banker in Santa Tecla, where he built a life grounded in hard work and ambition. In 1985, he married Rosa Erika Portales de Beltran, and in 1986 they welcomed their beloved daughter, Jenny Beltrán. Juan embraced fatherhood wholeheartedly, finding immense joy in creating a loving and happy home in Santa Tecla.
As a husband, father, brother, and son, Juan Francisco was deeply devoted. He treasured time with Jenny, whether at home, on long drives in his cherished white Toyota pickup truck, or during trips to the beach house he loved so dearly. Later, as CEO of a successful business alongside Erika, he took pride in working hard for his family, often with little Jenny playfully “running the office” from his desk.
In 1996, Juan Francisco began a new chapter in Long Island, New York, arriving on a cold January day but bringing with him his warmth, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit. He started his own international mail business and built a life centered around family and joy. Weekends were filled with laughter, especially at Nathan’s arcade, and summers brought unforgettable trips to Six Flags, where he and Jenny rode roller coasters and made lasting memories.
Though Juan Francisco and Erika eventually separated, they remained united in love and respect for their daughter, setting a beautiful example of friendship and co-parenting. In 2002 he became proudest grand parent and enjoyed driving this grand children to and from school while making memories with a daily trip and after school trip snack at 7-Eleven.
Juan Francisco later found lasting companionship with his life partner, Marta Quinteros. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and shared experiences. In 2006, they both joined The Home Depot, where they formed meaningful friendships and proudly became part of the “orange family.” In 2019, they moved to Florida, embracing a peaceful life filled with gardening, beach days, and time with loved ones especially with his grandchildren.
Juan Francisco’s greatest joy was his family. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Jenny his four grandchildren, Samantha, Stephanie, Jonathan, and Jayden, Kevin, his great-granddaughter, Jenova and his cherished son-in-law, Lester. He delighted in attending soccer games, traveling, and never missing a Real Madrid match with “Mi Amor Marta” one of his many passions.
Juan Francisco will be remembered as a man who lived life fully and joyfully an adventurer, a dreamer, a devoted family man, and a man of deep faith. His kindness, creativity, intelligence, and unwavering love for those around him leave behind a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He taught us the value of family, the importance of faith, and the beauty of embracing life with open arms. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will forever guide and inspire those who were blessed to know and love him.
“Rest in peace. You will always live in our hearts. Gracias por todo. Te amo.”
