Joyce King Jones age 75 of Ormond Beach FL died September 20 2010. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday September 25th at 11:00 am at Christ Presbyterian Church 1035 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. Visitation with family and friends will be held at the church one hour prior to services. Joyce was born June 4 1935 in Stockton Tennessee. She grew up in Northeast Tennessee with her parents Raymond and Sylvia (Tinch) King and siblings Joline Mullinix Faye Stricklett Mike King and Ben King. She attended the University of Tennessee Nursing School and then married her high school sweetheart Royal Reece Jones on June 24 1955 in Muncie Indiana. She was a partner with him in business throughout their marriage of 55 years. They raised three children in Dayton Ohio (1957-1960) Birmingham Alabama (1960-1971) and then in Keystone Heights Florida (1971-2005) Joyce was a most kind generous unselfish positive and optimistic person who gave much to others and devoted her life to her family. She was of strong Christian faith and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved to cook and spend her days with her grandchildren. Joyce is survived by her husband Royal Jones daughter Natalie Jones White (Darrell) daughter Sylvia Jones son Timothy Jones (Tish) and grandchildren Monica Amy and Nickolas Powers Dustin and Logan White Miranda Rachel Anna and Christina Jones and a great granddaughter Malia McNally.
