Joy Newman-Woolley of Ormond Beach passed away on March 11 2009. Services will be private. Joy was born in 1946 in St. Petersburg Florida to Paul Newman and Julia Herrick-Woolley. She later made her home York Pennsylvania with her late husband Larry and son Scott. In 2000 she moved to the Daytona Beach area. Joy was wonderfully creative and would most often be found painting working with stained glass or gardening. She had the wonderful ability to persevere through some very tough times. Although Joy had a tough exterior she had a kind soft gentle heart and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Joy is survived by her son Scott Paul Woolley of Deland Florida; sisters Shirley Holmes of Holly Hill Florida Paula Starling of Pierson Florida Judy Krejci of Chicago Illinois and many nieces nephews and dear friends.
