Josephine L.  White, 89, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on October 29, 2019 at Advent Health Hospice Care Center in Palm Coast.  She was born on May 10, 1930 in the Bronx, New York to the late, Fred and Helen Vatore DeCustis. Josephine retired as a Treasurer for Community Savings Bank and Loan in Mount Vernon, New York.  She moved to the Palm Coast area in May of 1989 from Deltona, Florida where she lived since retiring to Florida in 1981.  Josephine enjoyed cooking, baking and word puzzles.  She was lovingly remembered as the most caring, giving person to all.  Survivors include her two daughters, Geraldine (George P.) Simmons of Palm Coast, FL and Rosemarie White of New Rochelle, NY;  three grandchildren, Michael P. (Jamie) Simmons, Marc R. Simmons and Brian J. (Bridgette) Simmons;  six great-grandchildren, Rebecca Apostolos, Alexis Pinto, Adyson Simmons, Isabella Simmons, Joe Downs and Michael J.  Simmons;  niece, Helen L. Kehlenbeck and nephew, William (Virawan) Kehlenbeck.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse M.  White, on December 3, 2012.  Memorial Donations may be made to Kidney Foundation of Florida, www.kidneyfl.org or to a charity of one's choice. Condolences may be shared with the family here on our online guestbook.
