Josephine L. Tuccio age 91 passed away at Bridgeview Nursing Center in Ormond Beach on Thursday August 17 2006.
Visitation & Calling Hours will be from 2 ? 4 p.m. & 6 ? 8 p.m. on Saturday August 19th and from 2 ? 4 p.m. on Sunday August 20th in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery on Long Island N.Y.
Born in New York City on July 26 1915 to Alfred & Josephine Panabinco; Josephine was a lifelong resident of N.Y. until moving to Florida 14 years ago.
She worked as a sample maker seamstress in the Manhattan garment industry. Among her joys Josephine loved to sing & dance; and her family and Catholic faith were her priorities.
Josephine was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph who passed in 1973. Left to cherish her memories are her children Ann Nicholson of Palm Coast FL and Vincent Tuccio of Tampa FL; grandchildren Bruce Ross Gale Barteau Henry Ross Charmange Guiolett Laura McDonald Joseph Tuccio & Michael Tuccio; many great and great-great grandchildren; brothers Mario Salvatore & Thomas Panabinco and her sisters Tina LaPolen & Antoinette Vasta.
