Josephine M. Fante age 89 of Daytona Beach went to be with our Lord on Tuesday September 15 2009. A funeral in her honor will be held Monday September 21 2009; 1:00 PM at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home followed by an entombment at Daytona Memorial Park.
Josephine was born in New York City New York to Henry and Frances Mucci she dedicated her life as a daughter mother and friend. She worked next to her husband in his butcher shop in New York City for many years. In 1988 they came to the Daytona Beach area and made their home here. Josephine will best be remembered as the loving kindly generous women who always had a smile on her face. Her bubbly personality effected everyone around her. She had a philanthropist heart and gave to all while she could. She was also a proud member of Epithay Catholic Church in Port Orange. Her beloved doting husband George Fante preceded her in death as did her beloved brother Victor and Sister Margaret. She is survived by a niece3 Annett Cavallaro of Armonk New York 3 nephews Anthony DePonte William DePonte and Michael DePonte all of Florida and her devoted loving friends. May she rest in peace.
