Josephine Bryan age 71 of Orange City Florida lost her courageous battle with throat and lung cancer and went home to be with our Lord on Monday October 25 2010. A 10:00 AM Funeral Mass followed by a reception will be held on Saturday October 30 2010 at St. Peter Catholic Church 421 W. New York Ave Deland.
Josephine "Jo" was born in Patterson New Jersey to Charles and Antoinette Caramanna and on Veterans Day in 1956 she married the love of her life dedicating herself as a wife mother and grandmother. She was a proud member of St. Peter Catholic Church and served as the secretary from 1975-1995. Jo was a member of the West Volusia Amateur Radio Society N4JSX as a call sign. In the early 80's she worked as a stringer for The Daytona Beach News Journal. Jo enjoyed reading mystery novels all kinds of crafts especially clay pottery and was famous for her Hallmark Cards and chocolate "babies and roses"
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 54 years Willard Bryan Jr. 4 children: Charles (Mica) Bryan Willard Bryan III Josephine (Skip) Ahearn and Mary (Mark) Dunn 5 grandchildren: Maddie and Josh Ahearn Dylan Bryan and Jacob and Sydney Dunn a sister Phyllis (Raymond) Bubel her church family many loving extended family and friends.
