A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Josephine Bennett 69 of Daytona Beach who passed away on August 12 2007 will be held at 10 a.m. Friday August 17 2007 at the Port Orange Chapel of Lohman Funeral Homes with Chaplain Carol Hamilton officiating. Josephine was born on November 2 1937 to the late Harold and Nettie Holdridge. A Daytona Beach native Josephine was a member of Rainbow Girls and attended Mainland High School until graduating in 1956. Josephine loved to bake desserts her specialty being banana bread and also enjoyed growing house plants particularly African Violets. Josephine was a resident of Luther Hall for over 3 years and during that time she enjoyed her coffee club with friends every afternoon. Josephine leaves to cherish her memory her dear sister Ruth Davis and her husband Lon and many extended family members and friends who dearly loved her.
