Joseph A. Walczyk, 73, of Ormond Beach, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Daytona Beach, FL.

Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, March 21, at 11:00 am at St. Brendan Roman Catholic Church, 1000 Oceanshore Blvd. Ormond Beach.

Joe was born September 20, 1941 in Syracuse, New York to Frank and Helen Walczyk (Terlikowski). He graduated from Christian Brothers Academy and went on to attend State University of New York Maritime College where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering. Joe retired from Niagara Mohawk Power Company in Syracuse, New York. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Lions Club. Joe enjoyed fishing, a good game of cards, and most of all he enjoyed his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Alice T. Walczyk of Ormond Beach; three sons, Joe Walczyk Jr., Mark Walczyk, Mathew Walczyk and his wife Kimberly; one daughter, Karen Tomlinson and her husband Rod; and eight wonderful grandchildren.
