Joseph Anthony Plaza , 87, born 2/19/35 in Hartford, Connecticut passed away on March 8, 2022. Joseph graduated from the University of Connecticut and joined the US Airforce, where he served in the Korean War. Joe was married to Mary Plaza for over 61 years. Joe retired from Travelers Insurance Co. after 31 years, after which he moved to Ormond Beach Florida where he earned his real estate/brokerage license. Joe was an amazing father to three daughters, Doran and Roger Baral, Diane and Bill Hoislbauer and Debra and Peter Moore. Joe also cherished his seven grandchildren, Melisa, Joe, Matt, Rob, Wojo, Rilee and Ava. In addition, Joe had five beautiful great grandchildren with one on the way. The family would like to recognize all of the health care professionals who worked with Joe throughout his years. A "celebration of life" will be planned later in the year.
