Joseph Peter (Pete) Manheimer, 71, died suddenly and peacefully, on Wednesday, January 27th, 2021 in Palm Coast, Florida surrounded by his family.

Peter is survived by his wife, Jean of Summerville, SC; daughter, Stacey Jodie (Brett) of Lexington, SC; his son, Jeff Manheimer (Brooke), of Mount Pleasant, SC; his grandchildren, Alexis and Faith Jodie and Jack, Drew and Sydney Manheimer.

Peter is also survived by sisters; Joan Paff (Fred), Kelly Manheimer (Kathleen McQuire) both of Westwood, NJ and brothers; John (Jack) Manheimer (Andree) of Bluffton, SC, Robert (Rocky) Manheimer (Eleanor) of Park Ridge, NJ; loving in-laws, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Peter was a great family man and a loving father and grandfather. His family and friends will always remember his big personality, and love of Jesus.  He was an avid golfer and classic car enthusiast. Nothing brought him more joy than being surrounded by his family, especially his five grandchildren.  He will always be remembered as Poppy; who never left the room without saying "Poppy loves you!"
