Joseph E. Morgan 86 of Ormond Beach passed away on January 4th 2010. He was born September 17th 1923 to Joseph and Anna Morgan in Pompton Lakes New Jersey. Married in 1949 to Betty Dunnigan the Morgan's had four children and were married nearly 61 years. Joseph served in the Pacific Theater during WW II in the
United States Army Air Force on the Island of Saipan. He was employed with Dupont for 42 years as a Machinist and retired in 1983. Joseph was also a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. A Visitation will be held on Thursday January 7th 2010 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday January 8th at Prince of Peace Catholic Church beginning at 11:00 am. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Anna Morgan sisters Elizabeth Leer and Eleanor Rue. Survivors include wife Betty Morgan of Ormond Beach sons Dennis Morgan (Christine) of Ormond Beach Edward Morgan (Lani) of San Francisco California and James Patrick Morgan (Donna) of Suffern NY daughter Judith Morgan of Ormond Beach granddaughter Renee Deising (Don) of Ormond Beach grandson Denny Morgan of Ormond Beach great grandchildren Jacob and Zachary Deising both of Ormond Beach.
