Joseph W. McDougald
, 81, of Port Orange, FL. peacefully passed away quietly on August 21st, 2018 around 3:20 pm. "Mac" was a wonderful husband and father, grandfather and friend to all. He was kind and generous and will be missed by all who knew him.
Mac was a 20 year retired Veteran of the United States Air Force. After his retirement, he worked in the electrical maintenance field in the North Georgia area. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, June Olivia and her children, Garry Bentley, and Larry Bentley of Daytona Beach, Jeannimarie Bentley Wallace (William) Astor, FL. and Mac's children, Karen Lambert, her son Joe of Murrayville, GA, Jerry McDougald of Thomasville, NC., Trudy Joannini of Monks Corner, SC, and Michael McDougald, his wife Lauren and their two sons Chase McDougald (Connie) and Grandaughter Cara of St. Augustine, FL. and Spencer of Winder, GA.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 25th, at 11:00 am at the New Hope Baptist Church, 1675 Taylor Road, Port Orange, followed by a Full Military Service. Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at a later date. Condolences may be shared with the family via this online guestbook.
