Joseph H. L. Doucet 73 of Port Orange passed away on Tuesday July 27 2010 surrounded by his family at Florida Hospital Oceanside after a long battle with Wegener's Granulomatosis disease. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Doucet was born on August 9 1936 in Woonsocket R.I. the son of the late Adjutor and Albanie St. Germaine Doucet. Joseph graduated from Mount St. Charles Academy and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for Almac Supermarkets as meat cutter manager. He was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots and was a lifetime member of the Cercle Laurier. Left to cherish their memories together are his loving wife of 53 years Ethel A. Doucet; his daughters Lorry Doucet of Lancaster MA and Lisa Doucet of Cape Coral FL; and his sister Margaret Mary Doucet R.J.M. of Warwick Rhode Island.
