Funeral Services for Joseph Homa 76 of Holly Hill who passed away on January 16 2007 will be held 11 a.m. on Monday January 22 2007 at Holy Cross Orthodox Church 375 Fleming Avenue Ormond Beach. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Following the service at the church interment will take place in Daytona Memorial Park. He was born on May 15 1930 to the late John and Helen Homa in Pohatcong New Jersey. Joseph attended Phillipsburg High School worked as a farmer and as a truck driver before becoming the owner of Joseph Homa Excavating in New Jersey. Upon moving to Holly Hill he operated Homa's Lawn and Garden Equipment for 17 years. He was also a member of Holy Cross Eastern Orthodox Church. Joseph leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 53 years Marjorie; daughter Catherine Arther of Kissimmee FL; two grandchildren; and sister Helen Hartung of Ormond Beach FL. He was preceded in death by his sisters Mary Seaman and Joan Lelo and brothers John Stephen Andrew Basil and George.
