Joseph Richard Bonanno, 74, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away peacefully at Stewart F. Meyer Hospice House, surrounded by family and friends.  He was born on August 15, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York.  As a young man he took up the trade of masonry and became a respected masonry contractor during his 50 plus  year career.  Known as "Joey B." to his friends, he was an avid motorcyclist, riding for  over 40 years.  Joey B. touched so many with his infectious smile.  He loved being around family and friends, loved cooking and grilling - He Loved Life! Joe was a true Warrior right until the end.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Kristina Bonanno; son, Joseph Bonanno (wife, Marianne Bonanno); step daughter, Brittany Reichl; brother, Michael Bonanno; grandsons, Brandon Bonanno, Brayden DePotter, and Colton Dobes; aunt, Marie Joest; mother in law, Patricia Ruscetti; sister in law, Anna Maria Beasanski (husband, David); brother in law, Bill Ruscetti (wife, Denise);  many nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Bonanno; mother, Frances Bonanno; and father in law, William Ruscetti.

Joey B. touched so many with his loyalty to all, and award winning personality; he will be deeply missed.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Stewart F. Meyer Hospice, Palm Coast.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 5pm-8pm at Lohman Funeral Home located at 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW, Palm Coast, Florida 32137.
