Josefina Caangay Rabino, 87, of Rockledge, Florida and formerly of Palm Coast, Florida passed away Monday, June 10, 2024.  She was born on February 4, 1937 in Odiongan, Gingoog, Philippines. She grew up in Sagay on the island of Camiguin and after she graduated college, she moved to Manila for work where she met her husband, Candido. Once Dido found a job in the U.S. in Central Pennsylvania, she bravely followed with her two young children in 1972. Josie was a nurse and a physical therapist, before retiring with her husband in Florida. She enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband and karaoke, especially with family, and was well loved by her community and friends. She was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Palm Coast, Florida.

Josefina is preceded in death by her loving husband, Candido P. Rabino; sons, Carmello and Ronaldo Rabino; brother, Deogracias Caangay and sister, Remedios Caangay Kho.  She is survived by her daughters, Marietta Rabino Brazelton & Monica Rabino; grandchildren, Tyler(w/Isabelle), Zachary, Marlee, Camille; children-in-law (& love), Steve, Cathy, Joy and many extended family & friends.

There will be a viewing on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 12PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church located at 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast 32164.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1PM at the church.  Placement in the columbarium will take place at a later date.
