Dr. Jose Diaz of Daytona Beach Shores died July 1 2005 at Port Orange Health and Rehab Center. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday July 21 2005 at 11:00 AM at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Chapel with Rev. Bob Moorehead officiating.

Dr. Jose Diaz was born on March 25 1910 in Key West Fl. He was a member of the Shriners and the Masons. Jose was a Veteran of WWII. He grew up in Spain and also received his medical training there. He returned to the US upon his entry into WWII and Received the Purple Heart. Dr. Diaz practiced as a general practitioner in N.J for many years. Upon retirement he moved to Florida. Dr. Diaz enjoyed dancing fishing and theatre. He celebrated each day and blessed us all with his inspirational love of life.

Left to cherish his memories are wife Else Diaz and loving family Henry Vera and Tom and Ann. He will be missed greatly by friends and family.
