Jose Juan Amaro, went home to his Lord and Savior on January 17, 2023. He was at home in Deland, Florida, surrounded by his family, which is the way he would have wanted it to be. He was a great provider and devoted to his family. José was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico on August 24, 1934. He is survived by his wife Eva, his children, Ellie, Annie, Sam, Jeannie, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His surviving siblings are Rafael , Jesus, Gloria, and Mary. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his inventive mind, and his love for his family. He enjoyed music, playing the organ and watching his great grandchildren play. He will be terribly missed and will hold a special place in our hearts.
