With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jonnie W. Rauseo, a kind and beautiful soul who touched the lives of many. Originally from Massachusetts, Jonnie made her home eventually in Hutchinson Island, Florida, where she shared a life filled with love and warmth alongside her beloved husband, George G. Martin. They were truly inseparable, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life—sitting on the porch, laughing while stealing each other french fries, listening to the rhythmic waves of the ocean, and cherishing conversations with family and friends.
Jonnie had a heart for caring, always putting others before herself. She found happiness in the little things—cozy socks, bright colors, and the laughter of loved ones. Her kindness and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She also had a love for a little excitement, and one of her favorite memories was winning big at a casino alongside her son, Chip—a moment filled with joy and celebration.
She leaves behind a family who adored her and will forever carry her love in their hearts. Though she has left this world, she is now at peace, reunited with those who have gone before her.
Jonnie's memory will live on in the love she shared, the kindness she showed, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be profoundly missed.
