John Woudenberg 89 of Ormond Beach went to be with his Heavenly Father on February 20 2012. Mr. Woudenberg was born in W. Orange NJ and moved to Ormond Beach FL in 1989 from Wyckoff NJ. He was a member and elder at the Coquina Presbyterian Church Ormond Beach FL and the Gideon's International. Family and friends may visit the family on Thursday February 23rd from 4-6pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd Ormond Beach FL. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday February 24th at 9:30am at Coquina Presbyterian Church 2085 W. Granada Blvd Ormond Beach FL with Rev. Neal Ganzel Jr. officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell FL. Mr. Woudenberg served in the US Navy during WWII and earned a Purple Heart. He worked as an accountant for the Ford Motor Co. in Mahwah NJ for 24 years. He was predeceased by his wife Jean Woudenberg in 2010. He is survived by his daughters Barbara (Greg) Venema of Ormond Beach Crystal Bernard Ormond Beach Brenda Heerema Hammonton NJ and sons Thomas (Andrea) Blonk of Raleigh NC John (Jodie) Woudenberg of Whitinsville MA Gregory Woudenberg of Millsborough DL; brothers Tom Woudenberg of Niantic CT and Bill Woudenberg of Weehawken NJ and 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Rosalind Storms and brothers Robert Woudenberg of Howard City MI and Richard Woudenberg of Rivervale NJ.
