John H. Williams Jr. passed away quietly at Daytona Beach Health & Rehabilitation on February 12 2013. A funeral service in his honor will be held on Tuesday February 19 2013 at 11:00AM at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Chapel 1423 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach with Interment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday February 18 2013 from 5:00 - 8:00PM. John was born on November 26 1930 in Baltimore MD to John and Barbara Weisenborn Williams. He attended Towson High School graduating 1948. He served in the Army Entertainment Corps with the USO. He then attended school for design at the National Display Institute in Philadelphia PA graduating in 1950. He loved to dance taking ballet well into his late teens. After his honorable discharge from the Army he began ballroom dancing and became Manager of Dale Dance Studio in Washington D.C. In 1961 he and his long time dance partner Angelina opened Dor-Lin Dance Studios in Parkville MD. He and Angelina (Angie) married in July 1974. He was a member of Dance Masters of America. He is preceded in death by his parents and loving wife Angie; and is survived by his step-son Martin C. (Elaine) Gordon; step-daughter Kathleen S (Bill) Miller; grandsons Stephen (Sherrie) Shaffer Martin C. (Angie) Gordon II; granddaughters Laura (Mike) Cygan Angel Alvez Sondra Alvez; great grandchildren Eric Brandan Aaron Ashley Zachary Gavin Connor Brooklyn Jona Joel Savanna Wahana Ashton Haley; great great grandson Jason and numerous loving friends.
