John Mark Swinford, Jr., 29, of Daytona Beach, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2015 at home. He was born March 16, 1986 in Daytona Beach.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11th from 10-12 pm followed by funeral services at 12:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona; 1423 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach. Inurnment will be held at Daytona Memorial Park at a later date.

John loved to cook, he worked as cook in local restaurants, He also earn his certificate in Optometry. John will be remembered as a person that always put others ahead of himself, especially those less fortunate then himself. He enjoyed the beach, taking long walks at night on the beach and listening to the waves.

John is survived by his father, John M. Swinford, Sr., his mother, Eileen Leagle, his wife, Maria Elena Escobar, his brother, Phillip Romano and his sister, Renee Romano, as well as his three kitties, Elvis, Cookie, and Nathan.
