Funeral Service for John R. Staton age 69 of Ormond Beach who passed away May 21 2004 will be Tuesday May 25 2004 at 11:00 am at Ormond Funeral Home Ormond Beach FL with interment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Monday May 24 2004 at Ormond Funeral Home.

Mr. Staton was born in Washington D.C. He served in the US Navy.
He was a member of the Mayo Methodist Church the Loyal Order of the Moose in Ormond Beach American Legion Post #267 and a life member of the Elks B.P.O.E.

He is survived by Peggy his loving wife of 53 years; also his daughter Brenda Staton of Ormond Beach brother Richard Staton of San Francisco CA his sister Dolores Tuttle of Damascus MD grandson John Pyle and granddaughter Jaime Lewis-Pyle both of Daytona Beach nephews Thomas Jones of Frederic MD and David Jones of Huntington MD and his faithful dog Mitzy.
