JOHN SHONHOLZ, 76, passed away Wednesday, Feb 15, 2023, peacefully at his home. John was predeceased by his father Ernest and survived by his mother Marian Shonholz-Weiss. John was born March 13th, 1946, in Amityville, N.Y., where he graduated Amityville Memorial High School. He was fortunate enough to find love twice in his life, marrying Carol Zara as well as Roxanne Kafka. The love of these two women made John a better man.

While certainly a jack of all trades, John enjoyed woodworking, a classic car show, and a nice cigar. He was well known in town for being the owner of a local Ormond Beach Timeshare & Travel Agency. If you knew him, you knew his quick wit, warm heart and availability to help a friend. His laugh could light up a room, and no one delivered a punchline better than John Shonholz.

Surviving are his daughters Kim and Kelly, son Jason, brother William, Cousin Laura and grandkids Erin, Keri, Katie, Krista and Michael as well as granddogs Doob and Stella.

We love you for loving John.

We will be celebrating his life on Friday, February 24th at 4pm at Lohman's Funeral Home, 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
