John Priestly age 82 of Ormond Beach died Friday May 20 2005 in Ormond Beach. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00am Tuesday 5/24/05 at Riverview United Methodist Church with Rev. Gil Benton as the officiant.
John was born July 22 1922 in Ballymena Ireland to John and Ethel May Spiers Priestly. John was U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and worked as a corrections officer for the City of New York for 27 years until his retirement in 1975. John was a member of Riverview United Methodist Church Pelham F&AM Lodge # 712 of the Bronx NY Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1263 of Daytona Beach FL. He enjoyed traveling the world with his loving wife Iney. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years Inez M. Priestly a niece Marian Leonard and her husband Robert of Mahopac NY a nephew Brian Priestly and his wife Tina of Lehigh Acres FL A grandniece Grace Priestly of Lehigh Acres FL a Sister-in-Law Kathleen Hillmann of Long Island NY extended family Victor and Kathleen Liviccori and family of Newburgh NY and several nieces nephews family and friends.
