John Pasnicky, 91, of DeLand, Florida passed away on January 16, 2015. He was born in Minden, West Virginia on October 30, 1923.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughters, Wanda Roberts and Vicki Swallows; sister Maggie Uhelsky; grandson Jonathan Swallows and granddaughter Andrea Dennis (Daniel). He is also survived by sister-in-law Irene Adkins and numerous nieces and nephews.

John graduated from Oak Hill High School, Oak Hill, West Virginia, in 1941 and is a World War II Navy veteran. He was a retired machinist and enjoyed traveling, baseball and spending time with family and friends. He was an active member of the Polish-American Pulaski Club in Daytona Beach, Florida and served as its president for several years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler.
