He was born in New Smyrna Beach, Florida in December 1935. Jimmy graduated Mainland High School. He served as a Marine and Journeyman Wireman Electrician with IBEW. He proudly worked with The National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

He was an avid fisherman who found enjoyment on the waters of Volusia County, fishing both the Atlantic Ocean and local river. Some of his favorite fishing trips were the Florida Keys, where he spent many hours pursuing his love for saltwater fishing.

Jimmy and his wife, Lewan were the owners of Mama Lou’s Beach Concessions. They proudly served the Daytona Beach Shores community for 25 years.

Jimmy is survived by his beautiful, loving and devoted wife of 68 years, Lewan, as well as his daughters Dean Smith and Lynn Parks.

May he find calm waters and peace with the Lord.
