Mr. Nugent was the son of John G. and Elizabeth White Nugent. He was born July 16 1922 in New York NY. John attended St. John?s University and served as a Sergeant in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Nugent was a National Accounts Manager for Clark Equipment Company for 30 years until his retirement in 1982. John moved to this area in 1989 from Breezy Point NY. John served on the Board of Directors of the Breezy Point Co-op for 14 years he was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church ? Palm Coast Palm Coast Civic Assn. Home Rule Committee VFW Post 8696 of Palm Coast Knights of Columbus and served as Flagler County commissioner from 1992 ? 1996. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid reader.
