John W. Myers age 82 of DeLeon Springs went home peacefully to be with his lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday December 15 2004 in DeLeon Springs Fl with his family by his bedside. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Christian Church in DeLeon Springs after the Holidays with Pastor Mark Gaeta and Bill Beebe officiating.

John was born April 24 1921 to Wilson and Anna May Myers in Dixon IL. He came to this area as a young child. After he was discharged from the service he moved to Michigan then back to New Smyrna in 1963. He was a member of the VFW in New Smyrna Beach and the DeLeon Springs United Methodist Church. John served in WWII with the Air Force and was part of the 568th Bombardment Squadron. John enjoyed his grandchildren and his church family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is predeceased by wife E. Marie Myers.
John is survived by Sons Gary Myers Susan DeLeon Springs Glenn Myers Linda Deltona Fl; Brother William Myers Michigan; Sister Vivian Ward DeLand Fl; Grandchildren Cindy Kimberli Eric Harley Logan Janelle.
