John Daniel Motuz, beloved husband and father died at the age of 86 on December 14, 2016. He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel Motuz, Christine (Dubas) Motuz and most beloved sister Marian Czap.

John was born in Newark, New Jersey. Graduated from Irvington High School, Irvington, New Jersey. He married the love of his life, Olga (Urchuk) Motuz of Hillside New Jersey and recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary, November 2016. He resided in Irvington, North Plainfield, and Culver's Lake all in New Jersey. Since 1996 he resided in Port Orange, Florida

John was a businessman his entire life, from shining shoes as a young teenager to becoming Owner and President of The Motuz Produce Company, North Plainfield, New Jersey. He was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus, supported and attended Holy Dormition Byzantine Catholic Church, Ormond Beach Florida.

He is survived by his beloved wife Olga Motuz, four loving children: Donna (Terry) Owens of Lawrenceville, GA; Daniel (Valerie) Motuz, of Asheville, NC; Denise (Philip) Klapp of Whitehouse Station, NJ and Debra (Jeffrey) Hoffman of Branchburg, NJ along with fourteen grandchildren: Terry (Sara) Owens, Alexis (John) Grzybowski, Jacqueline Owens, Elizabeth Owens, Natalie Owens, John (Anna) Motuz, Daniel Motuz, Jared Motuz, Danica Motuz, David Motuz, Austin Klapp, Taylor Klapp, Bailey Klapp, Jeffrey Hoffman, two step-grandchildren: Jacqueline Bradley, David Bradley and seven great-grandchildren: Samantha Owens, Lilly Owens, Evan Owens, Truett Owens, Claire Motuz, Owen Grzybowski and Wyatt Grzybowski.

John will be remembered as a fabulous storyteller of his pass years. He will truly be missed for his advice, wisdom and humor.

Viewing is being held Tuesday, December 20, 2016 4pm -7pm at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange, 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, Florida. A funeral mass will occur at Holy Dormition Byzantine Catholic Church, 17 Buckskin Lane Ormond Beach, Florida at 11am Wednesday, December 21, 2016 to be followed by reception in parish hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Dormition Byzantine Catholic Church, 17 Buckskin Lane Ormond Beach, Florida 32174.
