Funeral Mass for John Harold Moore 84 of Ormond Beach who passed away on Monday February 13th at Florida Memorial Hospital will be held Saturday February 18th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Brendan Roman Catholic Church with Father Queen officiating. Mr. Moore formerly from North Plainfield NJ was born in Trooper PA. He served in the Marines as a Tech. Sgt. Specializing in Airborne Radar. He served in the Bismark Archipelago Operation and the Marianas. Prior to retirement Mr. Moore was Superintendant of the Central R.R. of NJ. He later was co-owner of Precise Services in Savannah GA. Survivors include his wife of 61 years Dorothy; his son John and daughter-in-law Martha of Montgomery Twp NJ; his daughter Joanne Davis and son-in-law Chester of Venice FL; granddaughters Melanie Lapointe of North Attleboro MA and Marybeth Aucoin Moore of Atlanta GA. He also leaves a brother Charles Moore and a sister Mildred Heiser. Mr. Moore took great pleasure in playing golf at the Riviera Country Club which he joined in 1989 when moving here and bowling with The Falls as long as he was able.
