John Mauser age 86 of Daytona Beach died Tuesday June 14 2005 in Ormond Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 8:30am Friday June 17 2005 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Raymond J. O?Leary as Celebrant. There will be a visitation on Thursday June 16 2005 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm in the Lohman Funeral Home Ormond with a prayer service at 7:00pm.

John was born September 16 1918 in Sanford FL to John and Emily Kemmer Mauser. He moved to this area in the mid 80?s from Baltimore MD. John was a WWII veteran where he served in the Pacific Theater and was awarded the Bronze Star. He was an accountant for over 25 years in the Baltimore area until his retirement in 1976.

John was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange.

He is survived by his Brother George Mauser of Boyds MD a Sister Mary Mauser Redmond of Rochester NY & 5 Nephews Robert Mauser of Downers Grove IL George Mauser of Littlestown PA and Kemmer Mauser of TX Bruce Mauser of Allison Park PA Roger Mauser of Allison Park PA and a 4 Nieces Marsha Mauser of Allison Park PA Patty Redmond Condon of Rochester NY Sheila Tomme of St. Louis MO and Martha Dillard of Winston-Salem NC.
