John Marcinko 85 of Port Orange passed away on Sunday January 16 2011 at the Hospice Volusia/Flagler in Port Orange FL . A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 19 2011 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona 1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach FL 32114 from 12pm until 2pm. Funeral services will begin at 2pm in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery. John was born in Mingo Junction Ohio on June 17 1925 to the late John and Elizabeth (Ubrin) Marcinko and lived for the last 30 years in Port Orange FL. John was a family man who enjoyed flea markets and garage sales. Mr. Marcinko was a WWII Navy Veteran who served his country proudly. John was Presbyterian by faith and is preceded in death by his parents beloved wife of 50 years Genevieve Crider Marcinko four sisters; Anna Matty Mary Tatar Elizabeth Woodward and Sue Tatar and infant brother George Marcinko. Surviving is a daughter Janice Marcinko and granddaughter Janelle Marcinko both of Port Orange FL sister Dorothy (Joe) Makara of Mingo Junction Ohio brother James Marcinko of Mingo Junction Ohio many nieces and nephews. John will be sadly missed by his loving daughter granddaughter sister and brother and a multitude of friends who loved him.
