John C. Lenz, 79, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2026. John was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Nancy Lenz; his sister, Leatrice Lenz-Dunham; his daughters, Megan McCue and Julia Vosteen; his grandchildren, Payton Moore, Abraham McCue, Jonas McCue, and Julian McCue; his niece, Jaclyn Lenz; and his nephew, RJ Lenz. John was preceded in death by Ellen Lenz, John Lenz, Garry Lenz, and Jonathan Lenz. 

     John loved fishing and cooking and found joy in the simple moments shared with family and loved ones. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of love that will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered. A life measured not in days, but in tides. And with that John has cast his last line. May the waters be calm, the skies be clear, and the memories of a life well lived remain with us forever. 

     Ceremonial services will be held Saturday, November 21, 2026 3PM at Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. Arrangements entrusted to Lohman's Daytona Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Daytona Beach, FL  386-267-1100
