John P. Korsch, 79, of Ormond Beach, Florida, entered into eternal rest on October 20, 2014, after a brief illness.

John was born August 22, 1935 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, but spent most of his life in Cranford, New Jersey. John is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-one years, Judith Bowne Korsch and his children, Jacqueline Kalamaras (John) of Forked River, NJ, Janet VanBenschoten (Bob) of Cranford, NJ, and Jennifer Campbell (Scott) of Ormond Beach, FL. John was also the exceedingly proud grandfather of Katherine, Julie, Kristen, John, Ryan, and Emily.

John served his country in the United States Army before becoming a dedicated member of the Cranford Police Department for twenty-eight years.

John was loved and will be missed by his family and friends, both old and new. The family would like to thank some of the wonderful new friends that supported John as he began his journey to eternal peace; a heartfelt thanks to Sarah, Abby, Satin, Lea, Diane, Yvonne, and Yolanda for their compassionate and caring assistance.
