John Lewis Kent, Orange City Fl born December 20, 1923 went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, June 22, 2014. John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alice Marie Kent. He leaves three sons and a daughter, Leonard Kent, Orange City FL, Bruce Kent, Wythville, Va, Jeanne Brunt, Lansdale, Pa, and John Kent, Smiths Creek Michigan.

John was born in Lincoln Park Michigan. He served in the United States Army, graduated from Midwestern Baptist College in 1970, and was ordained to the Gospel ministry at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Pontiac Michigan. He was the former pastor of Smiths Creek Baptist Church in Michigan.
